My Hubby and I enjoyed these for breakfast and dinner! I didn’t have any raisins on hand, so I used dried cranberries instead. Of course, I couldn’t help but sneak in some semi-sweet chocolate chunks to make it an extra delicious treat.

In reply to Staci. I haven't tried that so I'm not sure, but they're oatmeal cookies so I'd recommend just using the oats/oat flour :)

In reply to Jacqueline Divyak. almond flour can't be substituted for the oat flour. Check out the green substitutions box. These cookies are naturally gluten free if you use gluten free oat flour!

THESE WERE SO DANG GOOD! I had everything on hand and used your nifty oat flour recipe too! Such a money saver.
The consistency of the cookie was so perfect. Moist, soft.
Followed the recipe except
Eliminated the honey as I’m trying to cut back a little. The maple syrup made them plenty sweet! 5 STAR!!

Was that 1 cup of hot water for soaking the raisins or was it supposed to be added to the cookie mixture? My cookies were quite dry. I did not over bake them.
