Add the drained chickpeas, peanut butter, cocoa powder, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl of a food processor.
Process on a high speed for 1-2 minutes, or until smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary. Add extra milk if needed until the hummus has reached the desired consistency.
Spoon the hummus into a dip bowl for serving. Optional: Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips for serving.
